Established in 1906 by Albert Pearlman, Pearlman Painting and Wallcovering has established itself as a hallmark of quality and service throughout the New York metropolitan area, a tradition passed on through three generations.
After World War II, founder Albert Pearlman brought his sons Leonard and Herbert into the business. Leonard’s experience as an engineer and Herbert’s expertise as an entrepreneur helped increase the services and size of Pearlman Painting. Leonard soon left to pursue other interests and in 1959 Herb took over as president, further expanding the company.
In 1981, Herb was proud to hire and mentor his son Randy, a young CPA at the time. Ten years later, Randy Pearlman assumed the reins as President. After growing the business of Albert Pearlman, Inc, in 2004 Randy and his team engineered the acquisition of Hudson Shatz Painting, bringing together the two most respected painting and decorating contractors in the history of New York.
Now, with more than one hundred years of experience in the painting and wall covering industry, the Pearlman name is renowned for unsurpassed customer service, meticulous attention to detail and top quality workmanship.
